they change a lot daily but usually the fire revolves around affirming that i exist, i am worthy, and i’m here for a divine reason.

rlly getting tired of ppl making me out to feel like i’m wrong for being upset about anti-blackness and white supremacy in the everyday. while i understand and totally support the efforts put forth to combat violent, overt, racism, i think it is also important to direct some of those efforts to addressing casual, subtle, and systematic forms of oppression. don’t tell me you’re going to punch a nazi when you can’t even confront your white and nbpoc friends on the ways that they perpetuate white supremacy and anti-blackness. 

if you are actually here for Black ppl, do more than just locating your internal prejudices or realizing how you are complicit.
